INSTALLING THE SHOWERSMART TIE-BACK and ANCHOR

installation 1

TIE-BACK

See our installation video

The “Tie-back” is made up of 2 components, the wall mount and the latching cover.
Make sure that the wall where you wish to stick the wall unit is free of dust, clean and dry.

Attaching the wall mount

Remove the backing strip from the double sided tape on the wall mount
Be careful not to touch the exposed tape or to let it touch the wall until you have correctly positioned it.

Align the wall mount vertically and in line with the inside of the bath so
that the centre of the wall mount is approximately 80cm above the rim of the bath.

Once in the correct position, gently push the wall mount against the wall and then
apply pressure on to it.

It is recommended to then install the Showersmart Anchor before
attaching the curtain with the latching cover.

Attaching the shower curtain with the Latching Cover

installation 2

Allow the shower curtain to hang naturally.
Position yourself on the inside of the shower curtain.
Hold the shower curtain end at the level of the wall mount and pass it
over the wall mount so that the end is on the inside of the bath.
The end of the curtain should protrude by about 2cm beyond the wall mount.
Take the latching cover and make sure that the end with the lip is pointing up
Hold the latching cover at an angle so that only the bottom touches the shower
curtain covered wall mount.
Use your thumb to exert pressure on the bottom of the cover until the sides splay out and slide over the wall mount.
Keep the thumb pressure on the cover and push the cover onto the wall mount until it “clicks” into position.

Removing the Latching cover

Place thumb on the latching cover and apply pressure in an upwards direction. The cover will slide off.
